❤️❤️❤️ It is love. It's a love story. It is poetry...  It was a story of love  Bleeding from thorns Not meant to be touched; It was a story of love  Consummated with words  Charged with rosy visions  Of what can never be; Of what we never had.  No, it isn't.  It was not another love story  To be told with starry eyes.  It's a story of love  That has shown us the end The moment it began.  If it stays, it's love If it ends, it's a love story.  And if it never begins, it's poetry. For love, delivers  With incredible approach, it sustains For love wins!

Power of Prayers

There Is Power In Prayer When you pray, God listens. When you pray, storms get stilled. When you pray doors open. When you pray, relationships get restored. When you pray, sickness gets healed. When you pray, hope gets rekindled. When you pray, strength is renewed. When you pray, answers come. Don't lose faith about what you are praying for today. God is faithful. His answers will come at just the right time.

What to do on Mind Management?

"Mind management isn't time management" 1. Being productive today isn't about time management, it's about mind management. 2. Time management optimizes the resource of time. Mind management optimizes the resource of creative energy. 3. Not all hours are created equal: If you write for an hour a day, within a year you'll have a book. But you can't instead simply write for 365 hours straight, and get the same result. 4. The First Hour Rule is simply this: Spend the first hour of your day working on your most important project. 5. If you start your day working on the most important thing, there's less of a chance for other things to get in the way. 6. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think creatively. Sometimes your mind is better-suited to think analytically. 7. The point of time is not to fill as much life as possible into a given unit of time. The point of time is to use time as a guide to living a fulfilling life. 8. A one-hour increase in aver...

Two women on a Train

Image
Two middle-aged women sat next to each other on a train. One was in a very good mood, but the other was sad and depressed. The cheerful woman who was having fun reading a book, started laughing as she read something amusing.Leanwhile, the sad woman became filled with envy seeing how cheerful the other woman was. She said to her. "You seem to be having such a great time... How I wish I could be happy as you are. But sadly, life isn't fair to everyone"  The cheerful woman closed her book and spoke very gently. "I'm terribly sorry for what you're going through right now. If you need to talk about it, I'm here for you" ta that moment, the sad woman heaved a sigh, then opened up to her.  "I have a child with a disability. It's so difficult to deal with the feelings of shame, guilt, hopelessness and depression. I wish I could change everything. It just hurts a lot" When the cheerful woman saw that the sad woman had started crying, she console...

Mental Wellness

Image
Silence is a weapon. Others think it is a sign of weakness. Either way, silence is speech. It can be a non- verbal war cry or a silent siren, warning the person of an impending implosion. Which means that everyone has to tread carefully. When a person is extremely powerful but has absolute control over the often overwhelming emotions of anger and vengeance. They knows that it's not about bulging muscles, but a matter of mental fortitude. It takes an incalculable amount of restraint for any person to hold their fears.

Nuggets of Success.

Image
Six Demands for Success.  1. Hard Work  Don't believe in luck, believe in hard work.  Stop trying to rush the process or searching for a shortcut.  There is none. 2. Patience  If you are losing the patience, you are losing the battle.  First nothing happens, then it happens slowly and suddenly all at once.  Most people give up at stage one.  3. Sacrifice If you don't sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice. Everything has its price. The question is: Are you ready to pay it for the life you desire? 4. Consistency  Consistency is what transforms average into excellence.  Without consistency, you will never achieve greater success. 5. Discipline  Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing.  There will be days when you don't “feel” like doing it.  You have to push through those days regardless of how you feel.  6. Self Confidence  Confidence is, I'll be fine ...

Refolding and Folding Life Untold Mysteries.

Image
How has life unfolded to you as per your level of exposure?? As I sit here with pen and paper in hand, I reflect on the week that has passed. Another day, Month and Year has found me, and it is time to pause and glean the wisdom that I have earned through my effort. I am reminded of the wise words of Takim Edu who reminds us that goals are only useful when they guide us to specific behaviours that are easier to do. Simply foc quickusing on doing Behaviour X is not enough; we must find ways to make Behaviour X easier to do.It is time to relax, to let my mind Wonder, and to plant the seeds of wisdom that will saturate the weeks ahead. But how can we make a behaviour easier to do? The answer lies in making it automatic. When a behaviour is reinforced, remembered, and repeated, it becomes second nature. If we want to turn a healthy habit into our new normal, we must pair it with a reward, plant cues to remind us to do it, and relentlessly repeat it. As I close my eyes, I imagine one ...

It's the Fate for Kenyans!!

Image
What's the Fate of Kenyans? In Kenya, it's always forward ever backward never. We wash dirt under the rug so fast and forget about it so fast. Even the Shakahola tragedy will pass and be forgotten... Have you noted that it's fading slowly? The media is fatigued about covering it. God forbid is Mackenzie bites the dust today, the tragedy will fade so quickly like morning dew. We forgot about the PEV of 2007/2008, and 2017. We forgot about the Arthur brothers saga, we forgot about the findings of thmany government initiated commissions of inquiry i.e.  the commission on devil worshipping, the Ndugu land report, the Krieger report, and other scandals like, Goldenburg, Anglo leasing, the Triton scandal etc. Even the Aror and Kimwarer Dam scandal has already been forgotten. Our poor memory is the reason why we don't hold public officials accountable. It's the reason why we don't look at the track record of the leaders we elect to represent us. One of the ...

Is this Relationship Romantic??

Image
Romantic Partner? Our view suggest that human beings are looking for models of genuine love and are hoping to learn from it's effects in order to own “perfect” relationship. However, some participants were still suspicious of the current generational romantic relationships. For me intimately saying is that; “I would like to see some of the flaws because I think some people are putting them up there way too much and I think if a small thing happens, it is going to be a heart break for a lot of people…it annoys me because no marriage is that perfect” Once more, there appears to be a recurring theme of doubt towards the romantic relationships that are perceived as perfect. Comrades are reluctant to accept such models of love they believe don’t reflect realistic relationships in their community. The feelings of suspicion towards working over romantic relationships in general, could have real-life repercussion on the formation of heterosexual relationships. Some of females that still ex...

It's isn't Winter. Brace for Untold high Economic Crisis.

Image
It isn't winter!Brace for Untold high economic milestone. Anyone who thinks 2019 was economically tough should get checked. What lies ahead is beyond what many expect or imagine. The things we have been writing about over the last six years are crystallizing. The financial hurricane we have been foreseeing will make a landing in the next 12-18 months if not sooner.  I however would rather be a prophet of doom than a false prophet who shouts peace in times of war. Many of us have already experienced the tightening economic noose. This is a tale that needs no telling. I wish I could be the bearer of good news.Expect debt restructuring and bailouts. This is because we have maxed out on borrowing and taxation capacity.  Interest expense on public debt is expected to cross the KShs 400 billion mark this financial year. This is obviously unsustainable. This will mean less government spending which will result in deeper money circulation concerns. The government will stru...

MountKenya's Political Extinction.

Is it mountKenya's political extinction? It's shocking how some few days ago, as we were having a cup of tea with two gentlemen of Somali extraction. As is habit before the main agenda, we allowed ourselves to digress and delve into all manner of topics. Animatedly, the older one couldn't hide his excitement on two issues. One, that the Agîkûyû as a community are on the verge of extinction. And Somalis, who on average marry up to Four wives and get upwards of 20 chidren are taking their pride of place in Kenya as the most populous community. Moreover, they have taken almost all hotels in the city centre, he asserted. And they won't stop there. He expanded his thesis that because the Somalis are more cohesive and are able to pool resources, they are taking over residential areas, building skyscrapers, malls and all manner of investments in neighbourhoods hitherto owned by Kikuyus.Further, but in a conspiratorial tone, he insinuated that progressively, Somalis from neighb...
